(Andrew)We've come to the end of a really cool week at Bulshoek Dam in Clanwilliam, time to move on.... weather's been cloudy today but overly cold or anything - just a couple of sprinkles of rain. Erin has swum to the other side of this dam, using the river's current... it looked cool except the water is too cold for me. didnt get any fish but we will just have to try everywhere we can. Erin also learnt to shoot our big gas operated pellet gun - that was good for both of us... we shot out a shed-load of pellets and gas cannisters... from our van to the middle of the dam... so I've turned the power down to get more shots out of it. Erin catching frogs and hundreds of tadpoles in the stream here. Sarita made potbrood for the first time today & it came out well but next time will be better..I just know this! we've booked here for a few weeks in december, closer to the water among the big trees. Gonna be cool....cant wait...
So we hit the road tomorrow to Springbok, overnight there and then on to Augrabies the next day. We'll spend about 10days there and until the long weekend, then head towards Jhb on a 3day run over the weekend..each hop about 300km or so..
